RISE OF THE FLOODBORN REVEAL: SHERE KHAN - MENACED PREDATOR

Hello! This is TGI-NL. We come to you today to tell you all about the villains. As cat lovers, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to unveil Shere Khan – Menacing Predator! Let's see

Shere Khan – Menacing Predator Shere Khan – Menacing Predator is a rare character with a cost of 3, classified as Storyborn and Rogue. We can ink him, he has 3 strength and 3 willpower, and he can look up 1 knowledge. He has an ability called Don't Insult My Intelligence, which reads: "Every time one of your characters challenges another character, you gain 1 knowledge." His illustration is by Matthew Robert Davies and Leonardo Gianmichele.

We always enjoy preventing our opponents from gaining knowledge, and what better way to stop them than challenging their characters? One of the best aspects of this Shere Khan is that it works well alone, but is also a lot of fun with the Steel characters who want to banish opponents. Try pairing it with Te Kā – Heartless or Simba – Rightful Heir to take the lead in the lore while we take control of the board!

Not only do we get one lore from Shere Khan – Menacing Predator, but if those characters win their challenges we get even more lore. Also remember that while Shere Khan can gain 1 knowledge when he is alone, if we have two copies in play, each successful challenge will give us 2 knowledge! That can add up quickly and at the same time prevent an opponent from doing much searching.

Another trick is to use characters with Rush such as Rafiki – Mysterious Sage and Maui – Hero for Everyone along with this Shere Khan. Pounce on your opponent with new characters ready to challenge unsuspecting exercised characters straight from your hand and gain knowledge in the process. Oh, and those characters with Reckless who normally wouldn't be able to help gather knowledge and win the game? Now they can!

Gaining knowledge through challenges can put a lot of pressure on opponents. Normally you'd have to decide whether to challenge or seek, but this bad boy never has to give up the chase.
